Ongoing Response ❗ Other Disaster 📍 Cambodia

Cambodia — Medical Aid & Healthcare Access

Note: unlike a single disaster, this is an ongoing need — many communities in Cambodia still face gaps in access to essential medicines and healthcare providers, and organizations like Direct Relief have supported local clinics there for over a decade.

The need

Since January 2010, Direct Relief reports delivering $179,983,948 in medical aid to Cambodia — including 43,797,190 doses of medicine and 1,027,543 pounds of medicine and supplies, across 173 deliveries supporting 14 healthcare providers. That scale of ongoing support reflects a real, persistent gap: local clinics and healthcare providers, especially in underserved and remote areas, often can’t reliably stock the medicine and supplies they need to treat patients.

What your donation supports

Contributions toward this cause go toward the same kind of ongoing work — getting essential medicines and medical supplies to local healthcare providers in Cambodia so they can keep treating patients, particularly in communities with limited access to reliable healthcare infrastructure.
