Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez brought her French bulldog Deco to work on Capitol Hill Tuesday.

The progressive darling revealed that she had brought her furry friend with her to work in pair of Instagram stories.

“Okay, one perk of being a member of Congress is that you set your own puppy policies,” Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said before turning the screen to her loyal companion, “So in a time of Covid and self-isolation, I get to bring a friend with me.”

In a second story, Deco was pictured sitting on a leather chair in what appeared to be AOC’s Congressional office.

“Deco says we need to pass a second stimulus check, state & local funding for schools, expanded unemployment insurance and guaranteed healthcare. That’s why he’s my policy pup extraordinaire,” she quipped in a blurb under the one-year-old Frenchie.

The New York Congresswoman took her puppy home in January.

At the time, she had tweeted that her goal was to “train him to be a community pup. Ideally we want to work to the point where he can enjoy town halls, be an Amtrak pup, come to the office, etc.”

While it’s not clear how often she brings the precious pooch into the office with her, Deco has been pictured both in and outside of the Capitol building — with familiar faces like fellow “Squad” member Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) and lesser known names, like Ocasio-Cortez’s longtime boyfriend Riley Roberts.

The pandemic is coming to South Park.

Deco is not the only French bulldog who has captured the hearts of “The Squad,” however.

Aziz, a fellow Frenchie, is a regular face in Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s (D-Mich.) office and frequently poses with the “Squad” member.

Aziz’s owner could not immediately be identified, however the Instagram account linked to the pup appears to be run by a woman. In a rare post featuring Aziz and both his owners, who were getting married in the photo, the bulldog referred to the bride and groom as his “mommy and daddy.”

When a user commented that they thought Tlaib was Aziz’s owner, the Michigan Democrat replied that she was the dog’s “favorite auntie.”

Tlaib is a big fan of the pooch, who describes himself in his Instagram bio as “a progressive French Bulldog chewing my way through life.”

“The Squad” member has posted numerous pictures of the four-legged friend on her Instagram, even taking him out of her office at the start of this year and with her to the House Rules Committee.

Aziz’s first order of business, Tlaib quipped, was that “all amendments related to dogs are germane.”

While Tlaib and Aziz are clearly close, she appears to be more of a cat person when it comes to her own pets.

A spokesperson for the Michigan Congresswoman declined to respond to The Post’s request for comment on if Aziz’s owner was on her staff.

It is not immediately clear if Aziz and Deco have had any run-ins during their Capitol Hill walks.
